RYFSA Summer Softball Registration is now open for 2025! We offer registration for 6U, 8U, 10U, 12U, 14U, and High School levels.
The first week of the season starts on May 27th. Practices before that are up to the head coach.
REGISTRATION DATES AND DEADLINES
Registration will remain open for 10U, 12U and 14U until March 6, 2025 at midnight. Late registration will be available for an additional $25 fee up to evaluations. After evaluations, late registrations will be dependent on availability at each age level.
*6U, 8U and HS deadline is April 4th, 2025.
EVALUATIONS
Evaluations will be held on Sunday, March 9, 2025 from 9AM to 12 PM. All players that wish to be placed on a tournament team AND/OR a gold REC team, must attend evaluations to be placed on the correct team.
If your daughter is a pitcher/catcher they MUST attend the regular evaluations AND pitching/catching evaluations.
We will only be taking the top 12/13 players for our 10U/12U tournament teams. If there are enough players, we will evaluate to have a gold tournament team and silver tournament team. Your player MUST attend evaluations to be placed on a tournament team.
There will be no play ups this year.
March 9th:
10u: 9-10:15 (warm up 9 to 9:15)
12u: 10:15am-11am (warm up 10-10:15)
14u: 11:15am-12pm (warm up 11 to 11:15)
WHO CAN PLAY
This league is for Rochester and Rochester Draw areas ONLY or for players whose communities do not provide a team at the players current level. Waivers will be a case by case situation only and reviewed by the Board.
DIBS
There is a one time buyout fee of $125 to not do dibs, or you can choose to volunteer and save the money. The exception to DIBS is the 6U and 8U age groups; they are excluded as they do not have umpires in their league.
UNIFORMS
Jerseys are included in the registration price and will be handed out prior to the first game of the season. Black softball pants will be at the player’s own expense.
FAMILY MAXIMUM

REFUNDS
It is strongly recommended to insure your player’s season. Injuries may come up over the next few months that could prevent your player from participating in the season. Since insurance on your payment is offered, there will be absolutely NO refunds provided.
